Travel Day -> Greenland

Greenland is the world's largest island, located between the Arctic and Atlantic oceans, east of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. It is an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark.

The flag of Greenland was officially adopted in 1985. It was designed by a local artist and features the Danish colors. The white is symbolic of the ice and snow that covers most of the island, and the red is symbolic of the sun.

Because the majority of Greenland is covered by permanent glaciers, the sea is the source for most food. Seafood dishes include various fishes (often smoked), mussels, and shrimp. Ammassat or capelin, a fish in the salmon family is commonly eaten and can easily be dried.

First of all, you cannot buy land in Greenland. If you want to build a house in the capital of Nuuk, you must be selected to "win" land via a lottery. All land in Greenland is owned by the government. ... Essentially, the government does not want its citizens to own land and then act foolishly while living on it.
