Summer Salad Soiree

Over 50 residents were involved in our Summer Salad Soiree.  Whether they made a salad, helped with the preparation, 'worked' during the sale or purchased from the sale.  It was a HUGE success!!  Residents made and donated pasta salads, chicken salad, cucumber salad, coleslaw, bean salad and much more.  Just look at this spread:

After making their purchases residents were encouraged to socialize (after all, that's where the 'soiree' part comes in!).

Lots of time and effort was put into this event but it was worth it, we raised almost $300.00!!!

Boat Race!

We made little foam boats to race down our creek.  Unfortunately, the Poconos hasn't had much precipitation this year so the water levels were very low.  That's OK, we raced anyway!  We just had to give the little boats some help.

It was a close race but boat 205 (we used apartments numbers to ID our boats) came in 1st!

Ice Cream Social

Vanilla Fudge swirl ice cream with an assortment of toppings: hot fudge, hot caramel, crushed Oreos, cherries, whipped cream, and cookies served in adorable little containers YES PLEASE!
