Talent Show & Tell
The 1st SFP Talent Show & Tell was a HUGE success!!! We had over 30 participants and 56 residence in attendance. Probably the BIGGEST turn-out we've ever had for an event! Upon arrival, residents were directed to the art area. We had over 12 artists put their talents on display! There were beautiful crafts of all kinds, stunning needlepoint, embroidery, knit & crochet projects. The original paitings by our very own residents really stole the show upon entrance, who knew we had SO MUCH TALENT under one roof!
Once we were all settled in and introductions complete, the food started to roll out of the kitchen:
As you can see, we had enough food to feed the entire room twice!
Then the real fun began......
14 participants provided some type of entertainment. We had a plant demonstration, a saxophone player, a singer, a dancer, story tellers, comedians, historical presentations, a pianist, a 9/11 tribute and even a firefighter!
THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH TO ALL OF THOSE THAT PARTICIPATED IN THE TALENT SHOW AND THOSE WHO HELPED CLEAN UP. I COULD NOT HAVE PULLED THIS OFF WITHOUT ALL OF YOUR ASSISTANCE ;)
